How our welcome gifts work
Potion Play tools are a one-off welcome gift for families joining the Boddle Box for the first time. This helps keep the box fair and sustainable for long-term subscribers. If you rejoin later, the monthly box stays the same — just without the welcome gift.
When will my first box arrive?
Your first Boddle Box is posted straight away after you sign up.
Join between the 1st - 16th:
You are charged at sign up, receive your first box straight away, then move to our normal payment date of the 1st of each month.
Join between the 17th-31st:
Same sequence as above but your next payment is delayed until the 1st of the following month.
This just stops you being charged for two boxes too close together and gives you time to enjoy your first one.
