Spooky Rainbow Pumpkin Bath Bomb
This chunky Halloween pumpkin looks impressive before it even reaches the bath — but wait until you see what it is hiding inside.
Spray-painted in layered shades of orange, grey and gold, its bumpy, irregular texture gives it the look of a wonderfully wonky real pumpkin. A spooky black zigzag mouth with triangle eyes and nose is carved and hand-painted across the surface.
Lower it carefully onto calm water and watch red foam appear behind its eyes before a big spooky rainbow comes spewing from its mouth. Scented in sweet Toffee Apple, it creates the sort of dramatic Halloween bath art that deserves an audience.
Its chunky, wide shape may naturally want to flip over, so follow our How to Get the Best Bath Art directions below to help it perform at its best.
Why you’ll love it:
- One of the larger, chunkier bombs in our Halloween collection
- Sweet Toffee Apple fragrance
- Realistic orange, grey and golden painted finish
- Red colour hidden behind the eyes
- A big spooky rainbow hidden inside its mouth
- Handmade and hand-painted in Scotland
A very impressive addition to any wee yin’s Boo Box. Every pumpkin is individually made and painted, so its colours, texture and finishing details may vary slightly.
Maker Info
These Halloween bath bombs are moulded and hand-painted in-house at Boddle Bath by Jen or Cheryl-Marie. Each one is handmade in Scotland under our current cosmetic safety assessments using our colourful, skin-kind Boddle formula.
Because every bath bomb is individually made and painted by hand, colours and little finishing details may vary slightly. That is all part of their handmade charm.
How to Store Your Bath Bomb
For the best fizz, fragrance and colourful bath art, keep your bath bomb wrapped and store it somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight until you are ready to use it.
Bathrooms can become warm and steamy, so a cupboard or drawer elsewhere in the house is usually better. Avoid displaying the bomb on a bathroom windowsill, as sunlight may fade its colours and moisture can soften it.
Our bath bombs are assessed for use for 12 months after production, but we recommend enjoying yours within 6 months while it is at its fizziest best.
Ingredients
Full ingredient information, including a plain-English guide to what each ingredient does, can be found on our What’s in our bombs? page. The exact ingredients and fragrance allergens for your bath bomb are also printed on its product label.
Our standard bath bomb formula includes:
- Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda)
- Citric Acid
- Parfum (fragrance oil)
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (sweet almond oil)
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa)
- Polysorbate 80
- Kaolin Clay
- CI colourants, including water-soluble dyes and mica paints
How to Get the Best Bath Art
Run the bath halfway using hot water, keeping everyone safely out of the bath while the Halloween bath art develops. Turn off the tap and wait until the water is calm.
Place the bath bomb on your palm and slowly lower it onto the surface. Hold it there lightly for around a minute, then gradually move your hand away once you can feel it floating by itself.
Enjoy watching the colours spread, or gently tap one corner to send your showstopper spinning and zooming around the bath.
Some top-heavy or naturally curved designs may try to flip over, just like a wee boat. Hold these at the surface for longer so you can enjoy the painted design and bath art. Once part of the edge has dissolved, the weight may balance and allow it to float upright by itself.
Finish running the bath to a safe, comfortable temperature before anyone gets in.
